“It is with great pleasure that I welcome you all to 7th Sharm Rendezvous convened at a pivotal moment as the global risk management and insurance industry confront unprecedented emerging risks. This Rendezvous serves as a crucial gathering for meaningful dialogue, collaboration, and the advancement of visionary solutions. Geopolitical volatility, climate change, the ethical dimensions of artificial intelligence, and the compliance requirements necessitate not only thoughtful deliberation but also bold and innovative action. Our collective focus must center on how insurers, reinsurers, regulators, and risk professionals can navigate the convergence of emerging risks with resilience and strategic foresight. Equally, we are eager to explore advancements in risk modeling and underwriting innovation, assessing how cutting-edge tools—from behavioral economics to parametric insurance—can foster more agile, inclusive, and intelligent underwriting frameworks. Besides, we are going to highlight the need for customer centricity and how to serve the customer in a better way, as focusing on the customer not only enhances satisfaction and loyalty but also drives innovation, improves risk assessment, and ensures long-term sustainability in a dynamic market. In today’s rapidly evolving landscape, innovation and digitalization are no longer a choice but a fundamental requirement to ensure our industry’s continued relevance and adaptability. The accelerating pace of global change urges us to re-examine and refine our operational mechanisms to align with both emerging risks and opportunities. It is my sincere hope that the sessions and discussions throughout this year’s Rendezvous will address these pressing issues and yield transformative insurance solutions to develop and enhance the industry’s performance. On behalf of the Insurers Federation of Egypt, I extend my deepest gratitude for your participation in this significant assembly. I eagerly anticipate the insightful ideas, strengthened partnerships, and pioneering innovations that will undoubtedly emerge from our deliberations over the coming days."
